Counting Collections

In Maths, we have been practising counting collections of objects in efficient ways.
In Kindy we used to count by ones, but now we can count by twos, fives and tens!

Can you count by twos?
Is there a more efficient way to count the pop sticks?

Can you count by tens?
How quickly can you count these counters?

What is the quickest way to count these counters?
By tens?  Or is there another way?

How could you count these blocks efficiently?
Are there five in each group?

  1. 1W loves counting efficiently. We took a survey and found that counting by 20s is our favourite way to count. From 1W.

    1. 1B also took a survey on their favourite way to count and we had a tie on what way was our favourite. We got 9 votes for counting by 10s and 9 votes for counting by 20s. Therefore 1Bs favourite way to count is by 10s and 20s.
