Read-a-thon!

On Friday, Year One participated in Bethany's awesome 

Read-a-thon!  We got to visit each of the Year One 

classrooms, listen to some great stories and choose 

different activities to do.

Some of the things we were able to choose were:

Making bug and spider bookmarks
Sequencing the story using a storyboard
Using the iPads to listen to the stories and use the app StoryKit to write and draw our own bug story

Using collage materials to create a habitat for our bugs

Following written instructions to draw our own ladybugs

Look how much fun we had!!

to win some great raffle prizes!

Also, if you want a chance to win Sassoon or 

Sassoon's babies, remember to buy some 

raffle tickets - 50c each or 3 for $1.
